Read this morning that President Obama went to the Star Wars movie.  (You must tell Mike that the President saw him.)  Anyway, where does the President go to see the movies do you think?  Or does the White House have a screening room?  Hmmm.  He says he went because everyone is calling him “Spock”.  :-)

Elizabeth: The Golden Age (2007)

Watched “Elizabeth: The Golden Age” Sunday night.  Was a good movie; she sure can play Elizabeth.  Did not know that the potato is native to America?  Learn something every day.  :)

Vampire’s Kiss (1988)

Watched a movie last night that Nicholas Cage probably wishes he never made.  ”Vampire’s Kisses” from 1988.  Could not figure out if they were being purposely “campy” or just very very bad writing and over acting.  It was quite bad!!

Invasion (2007)

You dad conned me into watching a horror movie last night.  ”Invasion” with Nicole Kidman. Scary.  At least it was for a whimp like me.  :)

Chloe (2010)

Watched a worst movie last night, entitled “Chloe”.  Cannot believe it got the actors it did.  Oh well, guess it had some “art” value.

Cop Out (2010)

Watched “Cop Out” movie last night. Really bad movie.  Bruce, what were you thinking?

Burlesque (2010)

May have to be a keeper. Loved Burlesque!  Forgot how delightful Cher is. Aguilar has potential.  Really good movie.  I have joined the ”cult”* possibly.   Have to see if there is a soundtrack.

*I told my mom before she watched Burlesque that it was really bad but some say it has cult movie potential.

Scorceror’s Apprentice (2010)

Saw “Scorceror’s Apprentice”  finally last night. Fun movie!

Larry Crowne (2011)

Saw “Larry Crowne” yesterday at last.   Was good to see Tom and Julia in a movie about older adults and not in one targeted to young people or including them only as grandparents on the fringe.   Would have liked Julia to smile and laugh more as is the center of her charm. The movie could have used a bit more “spark”, but was good.

How Do You Know (2010)

Watched the movie “How Would You Know” this morning with breakfast.  It was much better than I thought it would be from the trailers.  Still not an Owen Wilson fan though for some reason.  Reese Witherspoon, however, continues as one of my favorites to watch.  Paul Rudd makes me think of when you were little and still lived home for some reason.  And last but not least, Jack Nicholson is Jack Nicholson.  :-)
